Course Overview

This course aims to help businesses and individuals meet the demands of UK safety legislations, and increase workforce competence, awareness, safety and productivity.

It is imperative for anyone who operates at height to have an advanced understanding of the methods and equipment used, as well as the potential risks of working at height.

Prerequisites

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement

Course Content

Delegates completing a Unit 2 PPE User - Working at Height training course will be able to;
- Understand legislation and equipment standards
- Correct use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Understand different PPE purposes

Delegates completing a Unit 3 Use of Rescue Equipment - Working at Height training course will be able to;
- Extend the knowledge of legislation regarding risk assessment and rescue provension
- Give extensive training in practical rescue using personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Gain knowledge of potential emergency situations

Certification

A 3t Training Services certificate will be issued upon successful completion

Revalidation

There is no revalidation requirement for this training programme.

Items To Bring

Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport. Delegates must also bring their own safety boots.
